Terms of Service

Stargane Insurance Services is a commercial insurance brokerage licensed by the California Department of Insurance, License No. 6019376. We place insurance with admitted and non-admitted carriers through our direct appointments and wholesale partners. Coverage is bound only when confirmed in writing by the issuing insurance carrier.

Stargane Inc., the parent company, is a privately held Delaware corporation.

We are not an insurance carrier and do not underwrite or issue policies. We act as a licensed intermediary between you and the insurance companies that ultimately provide coverage.

You may use our Site for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
• Use the Site to transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Site without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site or any servers or networks connected to it
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use the Site to engage in fraudulent activity

Any quote provided through our Site or by our staff is an estimate based on the information you provide. Final coverage, terms, and pricing are determined by the insurance carrier and are subject to:

• Carrier underwriting approval
• Receipt of all required information and documentation
• Payment of premium
• Issuance of a binder or policy

A quote is not a guarantee or commitment of coverage. Coverage is bound only when:

1. An insurance carrier has issued a written binder or policy, and
2. Required premium has been paid as agreed.

You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information in connection with any insurance application. Material misrepresentation may result in denial of coverage or cancellation of your policy by the carrier.

Stargane operates as a licensed commercial insurance broker. We are not attorneys, accountants, or financial advisors. Information provided through our Site or in communications with our staff is for general informational purposes regarding insurance coverage and should not be construed as legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice.

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, illustrations, and the Stargane name and trademarks, is owned by Stargane Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stargane Inc., Stargane Insurance Services, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Site or our services (other than our professional liability for errors or omissions covered under our errors and omissions insurance) is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).

Nothing in these Terms limits our professional liability as a licensed insurance broker under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stargane Inc., Stargane Insurance Services, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in this section limits the rights of California residents under California consumer protection laws.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through our Site or by email when appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
